Horse Sense Australia is in the process of becoming a foundation based on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland, Australia to help horses. While that setting up process is still occurring, a group of us are out there, helping horses!
There are many ways that we try to help horses - through:
1. horse rescue service with focus on rehabilitation and rehoming;
2. unique barefoot trimming system;
3. agistment focusing on building up a natural social experience for the horses through a herd existence (though without stallions)
4. unique system of pads that assist with saddle fitting
5. equine psychology based on a non-adversarial system
6. sourcing 'genuine' horses from reliable and honest contacts
7. organising clinics and equine educational sessions with expert presenters
In order to fund our rescue and rehabilitation programmes, we offer a range of services to the public which include:
1. a unique system of barefoot trimming;
2. local horse/pony transport;
3. helping you understand your horse by studying his/her psychology, through discovering how your horse naturally operates on an emotional and mental level.
4. resale and rehoming of rescued horses
5. sale of unique form of saddle pads
6. sale of hoof stands
7. sale/application of helpful essential oils
8. sale of horse poultice and casts (for hoof soreness)
